This collection of jewelry  - made out of pearls and 18k gold or silver- is inspired by the traditional connection between Emiratis and pearls. Pearls from the Arabian Gulf were once highly prized and considered the most beautiful in the world, although now the industry has become nearly extinct in the region. The style reflects the rhythm, weight, and movement of the sea waves, and along with the lightness of the pearls, brought about a foundation for the concept of jewelry. 

The design of the gold or silver through the pearl is drawn from the needle-like drills that jewelry makers used to use to drill holes in the pearls.
