The Bajouca Carafe by Vicara is a tribute to Portuguese culture and traditional handmade pottery. This terracotta carafe, designed by Luis Nascimento, is part of the "Tasco" tableware collection. The carafe's design is simple yet elegant, with its beautiful shape and the stunning color of the terracotta. It looks like a little fat bird too, which is cute.
Let's just recognize for a moment the balance of minimalism and excellence in Portuguese craftmenship (we're not biased). It's a vessel for your favorite beverage and a piece of art that adds a touch of traditional charm to your table. It's perfect for serving water or wine, with the terracotta's natural cooling properties helping to keep your drink at the perfect temperature.
Hand-painted by Rosa Baptista, a ceramics painter based in Viana do Alentejo, each carafe is a unique piece that brings a touch of Portuguese artistry to your home.
