LE1 Loudspeakers (pair)
Designed by Dieter Rams for Braun, the LE1 was introduced in 1960 as the first electrostatic loudspeaker on the German hi-fi market. Based on licensed Quad technology, Braun developed its own high-voltage components and brought Rams’ clear, functional design language to the form. With its slim nickel-plated stand and perforated front panel, the LE1 embodies his “less, but better” approach. Only around 500 pairs were produced.
It is rare to come across a set like this—rarer still to have one in a store. But here they are.
