Ceramic Tumbler
A tumbler made from a blend of local clays, matte to the touch, with each one carrying its own small variations from the firing, treated as a mark of character rather than a flaw. Made by craftspeople in Hasami, a pottery district in Nagasaki with roughly 400 years of history behind it, it moves easily between water at the table, pens on a desk, or a toothbrush by the sink. Dishwasher and microwave safe, built for actual daily use rather than a shelf.
